~ASSISTANT MANAGER~

Skills/Items needed:

1-An affinity for animals, in particular dogs

2-A very strong work ethic

3-Fluid and natural customer service skills, an ability to talk in an easy going yet professional manner to my customers

4-Professional and personal phone skills

5-The ability to connect to people on a friendly but professional level

6-Computer literacy. QuickBooks and Excel software knowledge are a bonus

7-The ability to work in an extremely loud, hectic, and sometimes smelly environment. You’ll need to be able to clean up feces and puke while listening to 25 dogs bark in unison; be able to take being peed on occasionally and getting completely muddy and sweaty; all the while answering the phones and talking to customers nicely and timely. This is not a job for wimps or lazy people!

8-A very reliable form of transportation and a need to be on time all the time and never skip a day of work unless something tragic happens. I need to be able to trust that you will always show up for work since you are my replacement while I have days off. Precedence will be give to those who own their own car.

 

~SUMMER HELP~  

Daily duties and/or skills needed:

  1. Cleaning entire with bleach, sanitizers, white vinegar; using a mop, scrub brush, broom, and a vaccum EVERYDAY

  2. Cleaning up vomit, feces, urine, etc

  3. Feeding dogs a variety of foods including, raw diet, canned wet food, dry food, etc

  4. Escorting dogs in and out of kennels and outside play yards

  5. Pooper scooping play yards with proper tools EVERYDAY ALL DAY

  6. Playing with dogs daily and getting extremely dirty and sometimes sweaty

This involves little to no customer service, but ten times more cleaning and dog interaction. Pay is $6.15/hour to start, unless you have prior commercial kennel experience (having numerous dogs at home does not count). I usually have a need for a variety of hours so all availabilities are welcome. Same application, same directions.
